As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are expanding our data operations and seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote role, ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are organized, tech-savvy, and eager to build their career in data and operations.
Role Overview
As a Junior Data Entry Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our operational data is clean, accurate, and up-to-date. Your responsibilities will span across handling customer records, updating inventory details, processing documentation, and providing administrative support to the operations team.
You will be working remotely with a team of professionals who value quality, integrity, and continuous improvement. This role offers training, mentorship, and long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities

Accurately enter and update company data into spreadsheets, databases, and inventory management platforms

Review and verify the integrity of data from multiple sources before input

Clean up duplicate entries and correct data inconsistencies to maintain database accuracy

Assist in the preparation of reports for internal use, audits, and decision-making

Organize and maintain files, both digitally and in cloud-based systems

Coordinate with other remote departments to obtain missing or updated information

Maintain confidentiality and follow data protection best practices

Support documentation, task tracking, and performance record keeping

Participate in virtual team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews
Qualifications

OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any field, preferably in Business Administration, Information Management, Statistics, or Computer Science

0 to 2 years of experience in data entry, record keeping, or administrative support

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic data entry software

A typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting

Good time management and communication skills

Reliable internet connection and a laptop or desktop for daily work
